Private Practice Mentorship
Few new clinicians realize that there is much more to getting started in private practice then just hanging up a shingle and taking on new patients.
A new private practitioner may have literally hundreds of important decisions to make in the first year. These decisions may range from anything to choosing a business name to purchasing the right kind of billing and clinical software. In between there are many more decisions about accounting, marketing, paneling with insurance, credit card processing, setting up fee structures, creating forms, procuring insurance, etc. all of which need to be carefully considered lest the wrong decision proves to be a costly mistake. Believe me when I say that I made a lot these mistakes myself.
When you’re making an investment in yourself that is this big, it’s good to have the support of seasoned professional to walk you through the process.
Testimonial
“Being a therapist in private practice is incredibly rewarding. I’ve been at this for 4 years and I can’t imagine myself ever working for anyone else again. I have complete creative control over every aspect of my work and it’s enormously gratifying. I am so grateful to Tracey for helping me navigate this process. When I was wavering about whether or not I could do this, she was so positive and encouraging. And once I decided to go for it, Tracey provided me with so many good ideas, resources, and hands on support. I couldn’t have done it without her.” Emilia
